Contest Rules

This contest is run by The Acceptance Letter ("the Sponsor"). Questions about the contest can be sent to hello@theacceptanceletter.ca.

This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, you release Instagram and Meta completely from any responsibility connected to this contest.

The contest is open to residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in the province or territory where they live at the time of entry.

Residents of Quebec are not eligible to enter or win.

Employees of the Sponsor, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible.

Entries are accepted from the date the giveaway post is published until August 25, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Entries received after that moment will not be counted.

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or to win. Making a purchase does not improve your chances of winning.

To receive one (1) entry, complete all of the following before the closing date: follow @theacceptanceletter_ on Instagram; like the most recent post on that account; tag three (3) people in the comments of the pinned giveaway post; and submit the entry form at https://theacceptanceletter.ca/giveaway with your name, email address, Instagram handle, and province or territory of residence.

The entry form is required. Completing the Instagram steps without submitting the form does not create an entry, because the Sponsor has no way to contact you otherwise.

Limit one (1) base entry per person. Entries submitted by any automated system, or entries using multiple Instagram accounts or email addresses controlled by the same person, will be disqualified.

Entrants who book and attend a free 15 minute discovery call with the Sponsor during the contest period receive 3 additional entries, for a maximum of 4 entries in total.

The call is free and involves no purchase or payment. Booking a call is entirely optional and is not required to enter or to win.

One (1) prize is available: The White Coat Package, the Sponsor's complete coaching package for one full application cycle. This includes a full application review with a strategy call, a complete ABS review with rewrites, three essays edited with two rounds each, eight coaching sessions to use across CASPer, Kira, MMI, and panel preparation, priority scheduling during interview season, and direct message access between sessions.

The approximate retail value of the prize is $699 CAD.

The prize has no cash equivalent, is not transferable, and cannot be exchanged or substituted, except that the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize cannot be awarded for any reason. Coaching sessions must be used within the application cycle in which the prize is awarded.

On or about August 26, 2026, one (1) entry will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Before an entry is drawn, the Sponsor will verify that the entrant completed the required Instagram steps. Entries that cannot be verified are not eligible for the draw.

Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by email.

If the selected entrant answers incorrectly, another entry will be drawn, and this process repeats until the prize is awarded or the entry pool is exhausted.

The selected entrant will be contacted at the email address given on the entry form within three (3) days of the draw. The selected entrant must respond, answer the skill-testing question correctly, and confirm eligibility within seven (7) days of that first contact.

If the selected entrant cannot be reached, declines the prize, fails the skill-testing question, or is found ineligible, that entry is forfeited and another entry will be drawn.

Information collected through the entry form is used to administer this contest and to contact you about the Sponsor's services. It is not sold or shared with third parties. You can ask to have your information removed at any time by emailing the Sponsor.

The winner agrees that their first name and province may be announced publicly on the Sponsor's website and Instagram account.

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these rules, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend this contest if it cannot be run as planned, including because of technical failure, fraud, or any other cause outside the Sponsor's reasonable control.

By entering, you agree to be bound by these rules and by the Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this contest.
